About

It was a moment of pure inspiration.  I have no explanation from whence it came, only that Allah SWT must have put it there.  One day, almost 6 months ago, Muhammad Alshareef (my brother) was training the first batch of DiscoverULife coaches.  One exercise he had us do as he taught the art of speaking was come up with great questions for typical speeches that happen in Muslim communities around the world.  When he gave the example of, ‘Stories of Muslim Women Role Models,’ my hand shot up within seconds.  His eyes met mine (remember, he is my brother :) ).

“Heba, you have the best answer in the class.”

“How to Release Your Inner Queen of Sheba,”  was my answer.

And as the days have gone by since then, I’m learning that the process of releasing the power that lies within us Muslim women is an incredible one.

This is me.  Heba.  With a ’s’ in front – i am sheba.  IAMSHEBA.COM is the place where you can read all about the process and hopefully learn to become your own queen of sheba.

May Allah SWT put much barakah in all that you do!

My Queen of Sheba Roles

Mom of Five – DiscoverULife Coach – Aspiring Writer -

The struggling writer one is what this site is all about.  I’ve done some work:  masjid newsletters – children’s books (not too proud of the published outcome so I won’t mention titles here) – short stories - mastering your life type articles on DiscoverULife.

Current projects include the book, Release Your Inner Queen of Sheba!  It’s coming your way real soon – are you excited?

Check back often to read some of my work, hear some of my struggles (because even queens have them), and be inspired in your own lives.

  1. Ma sha Allah, excited to read your forthcoming books insha Allah! As for publishers, I know Muslim Writers Publishing if you want Muslims to publish your book. I know of other writers who have gotten their books published in the secular field as well. It depends on your content which route you want to go.

The publishing world is a world of its own and can get complicated in it’s path of inter-politics but I wish you the best!

  2. Mashallah I really want to read your book…. Cant wait, Hope it will be released in the UK inshallah

  3. ^^^ I second that :)

    Subhanallah!
I always hear excuses from people with NO kids and no major responsibilities of ‘not having the time’ to do this and to do that. In all honesty, i do too occasionally. I hang my head in shame that you have 5 kids, you are a dedicated DiscoverU coach participating in the forums etc as well, writing your book, and doing all the rest!!
We all have the same time, it depends what we busy ourselves with i guess.

May Allah swt make your upcoming book a success. Do i get a signed copy? ;)

  4. Masha’Allah. Hats off to you on achieving so much and aspiring to do so much more. You are a true inspiration. May Allah bless you and your family immensely and grant you nothing less than jannatul firdous, Ameen.

  5. assalamalikum. Welcome to the blog world sister…

And since you did advertise yourself as the Shaykh’s sister, you open yourself up to this: please give him my salam… I think he’ll remember me. At least I hope he does :)

  6. A million JazakAllahu Khayraans for all all the warm welcomes (including those that send them to me privately:))

Time is always a struggle – but I’ve learned that you actually don’t find time for what you sincerely want to do, you make it.
May Allah put barakah in our time!

  7. I have nearly completed my weekend seminar of The Shepherd’s Path taught by your brother and journey has been beautiful, especially with your Mum sitting wth us!
She recommended your website so I thought I make contact.

We were asked today what if anything had an impact on us re the seminar, any gems? Well, you know when you have those moments in life when what you have read makes contact with the reality and its shines like a bright light…it happened to me and the clarity was immense, real emanrush is what I think your brother terms it as. Well it all started with the trust issue between my teenage kids, Ayshah 18 and Bilal 13, you know the drill..mum says I need u to trust me and vice versa..well that is not the case…we need to put our trust in Allah subhanatallah…I need to teach my kids this is what they need to do and how to achieve and implement it. I am so grateful for this moment. It’s true the seminar has had an impact on me. Thank you Al Maghrib!!!!

As i have just got back from the weekend, I have not read through all the website but will do insha-Allah and enjoy making a contribution.
    Aslamulakiam sister Heba.

  8. Waalaikum assalaam Salva,

I’m really happy you derived such benefit from the seminar! You said something really powerful : “I am so grateful for this moment”. And if you can look at every moment in the same way – even the ones that are hard as teaching moments, and teaching your children to do the same – then you’d be blessed indeed. May Allah grant you and yours all that is good in this life and the next!

And look at my mum – promoting me in the UK! Isn’t she wonderful? Now you all need to send her back – her grandchildren miss her :)
